Sewage System

Sewage System - String City

Filled with effluent from the Carr Industries power plants, the sewers of String City were once the most radioactive part of the metropolis. When a new strain of isotopic alligator evolved capable of soaking up gamma rays, most of the city’s drainage problems went away.

The String City sewage system continues to be a hotbed of genetic mutation. Latest reports suggest that, ever since the alligators migrated to the surface, a new set of lifeforms has emerged to take their place. Sightings are rare, but most citizens now keep their baths and wash basins firmly plugged when not in use.
